The amount of help a person is willing to accept is directly proportional to the amount of pain they are in. This is a fact that 99% of people refuse to acknowledge or accept.
Let me explain:
You’re experiencing explosive diarrhea. You’re downtown heading to the grocery store to grab a few supplies when your guts start that familiar gurgling. You don’t know for sure whether it’s going to be an innocent fart or a river pouring out your butthole, so you ask a nearby coffee chain employee where the restrooms are. You’re trying not to panic but you don’t have much time. The employee tells you they have one around the corner of the counter but it’s for customers only, no exceptions.
Do you question whether he’s right or wrong? Do you worry about how much it will cost to buy a coffee or tea or something? Do you hem and haw about whether it’s the right decision for you or whether another store can offer you a restroom for free?
No. You’re about to shit your pants. You hand him $3 for a coffee, he hands you the key to the bathroom, and you run around the corner to get there before he even has your coffee ready.
Now compare this with self-help.
You can’t stop overeating– any time you feel upset or stressed out, the only way you can really calm down is to eat a cheese danish and a hot cup of tea. Or a sleeve of Oreos. Your stomach feels bloated all the time, your butt won’t fit into your pants anymore, and you’re constantly fighting a new rash or breakout on your skin. Every new zit is a sign you’re failing, which makes you feel more upset, which makes you reach for comfort food again. It’s a vicious cycle and you can’t seem to stop for more than a few days, no matter how much willpower you push into it.
You see me on social media talking about how I can help you heal your gut problems and you hear me say something about your gut being connected to your skin health. Holy cow, you think– that’s exactly what I need!
You ask me how I can help you. You tell me what’s wrong and I say that I know exactly how to fix it. Do you complain about how much it costs? Do you wonder if you can figure this out on your own? Do you shop around for books that will take you months to get through and hopefully teach you the same thing?
No. You hear me say “I know EXACTLY how to help you.” You book a Consultation.
But here’s where I throw you for a loop you weren’t expecting: the biggest problem I show you about your gut and skin isn’t the fact that you’re stuffing Oreos into your face several times a week. It’s not even that you’re not taking Probiotics.
It’s that you haven’t yet found a positive, healthy, constructive way to deal with your stress yet.
I can show you how to change your diet. I can give you recipes and encouragement and help finding good healthy foods. I can show you the right supplements to take that can improve your gut health and your skin, and even reduce the pain you’ve been feeling in your back for the last year or so.
But unless I also help you rewire your brain to actually WANT to do all these things to improve your health, there’s not much point. It’s like me giving you a stack of best-selling books when you can barely read.
Here’s the thing I haven’t been advertising on social media or anywhere else: I CAN.
I realize now that I have been overwhelming the people who have been coming to me for their physical health problems. For that I apologize. I was only trying to help.
I help people heal physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and sexually. The WHOLE person. However, you have to WANT to get healthy mentally and emotionally for my methods to work. If you refuse to believe that your problems have anything to do with mental or emotional health, I’m not going to be able to help you.
Ignoring the mind-body connection does nothing but hurt your chances of healing yourself completely. It’s been scientifically proven that your mental and emotional state affects your physical health more than almost any outside source. [Source: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1456909/]

I’m done hiding this skill. I’m done hiding what I know how to do.
Do you know the difference between your conscious mind and your subconscious mind? Your conscious mind is what’s reading this right now. Your subconscious mind is in the background absorbing what I’m saying and deciding whether it’s afraid of me or intrigued.
Your subconscious mind controls who you are. Everything you do, the way you act, everything that makes you YOU was shaped between your conception and the time you were 6 years old.
Did “toddler you” walk in on your mom looking at herself in the bathroom mirror, grumbling about how much she hates her big butt or packing on mounds of makeup because otherwise Daddy wouldn’t think she was pretty enough? Did you sit in your high chair near the breakfast table putting scrambled eggs into your mouth with your hands while your father drank his coffee and told your mother it was time for her to spread her legs and put out tonight? That’s why you think that’s the right way for a man to treat a woman.
The events of your childhood shaped what you’ve become.
As a child, you’re a victim of the people who raise you. You have no choice but to do what they say and deal with however you are treated because you’re helpless. Eventually you grow up and you act, believe, and see the world the same way they did.
Most of the time, your parents are doing the best they can. They’re not trying to hurt you or make you dysfunctional. They’re just repeating the same programming that they were given as children. They won’t change.
But YOU can break the cycle. You, the adult, have a choice. You don’t have to be a victim.
You don’t have to eat Oreos to make your stress go away. You don’t have to deal with back pain because “that’s just how life is now.” You don’t have to be overweight. You don’t have to have eczema on your arms or psoriasis on your head. You don’t have to have diabetes and heart problems.
The first step is getting into self-help. I can throw all the herbs and supplements at you but if you’re not interested in applying them to your lifestyle, they aren’t going to help you. Only when you choose to break the cycle your parents gave you and seek help will you affect any lasting change in your life. You can do this.
You can be the person you were always meant to be.
It’s time you did something nice for someone who really deserves it– YOU.
